Bastien Hollowroot is an elusive and deeply unconventional reconnaissance specialist whose quiet demeanor often unsettles those around him. Rather than relying on stealth alone, Bastien specializes in infiltration through deception, disguise, and manipulation. He embeds himself among enemy forces, assumes false identities, and speaks with enemy soldiers, officers, merchants, and informants without them ever realizing they are speaking to a spy.

Patient, observant, and unnervingly convincing, Bastien often spends days or even weeks operating behind enemy lines while carefully feeding information back to the Specialists. He rarely engages in direct combat, preferring subtlety and information over violence.
